Birthday Scanner for Linux v0.2
(c) by Alex Agranov, 2000

A simple GTK based frontend for Birthday Scanner is now available for Linux. Version 0.2 works with database format of version 1.2 for Windows and inherits the principles of it's Windows counterpart - it starts up, displays upcoming events (if there are any) and completely leaves the scene. A built-in WIN-1251 -> KOI8-R recoder, that may be optionally turned on, provides ability to share birthdays database between Windows and Linux (a pretty usefull opportunity for "cyrillic" multiboot systems).
